Since entering the defence sector​ in​ 1987, VEEM Ltd has ​delivered​ over $200 Million ​of defence ​contracts, ranging from manufacturing and servicing the Oberon class submarine valves through to the propulsion system for the new Pacific patrol boats, currently under construction.

VEEM ​has always ​pushe​d​ the boundaries of ​technology, continuously ​innovat​i​ng​ and ​improving its ​engineering manufacturing ​expertise. Th​is approach has been rigorously applied to all its high-technology products for the marine, mining and defence sectors​,​ out-performing competitors at every step.

VEEM has a continuous research and development program with high levels of intellectual property protection. VEEM works closely with its existing clients to develop new products ​and solutions using ​the best available technology to meet the market requirements.

Our naval architecture and mechanical engineering teams draw from experience in a wide range of market sectors, resulting in the ability to de​velop​ ​world leading technology that is now available in all its products and services. ​ VEEM’s ​modern manufacturing ​facilities consist of four workshops covering 14,700m2 and surrounding land.

VEEM operates the ​world’s most advanced propeller manufacturing facility and the ​largest non-ferrous foundry in Australia, with up to 25 tonne crane capacity.

VEEM’s internal processes are pre-approved by ​several​ classification societies without third party inspection. With VEEM’s quality management system and N.A.T.A.(National Association of Testing Authorities) accreditation, you can rely on VEEM products even in the most demanding service environments.
